Marty Cagan - the Yoda of Modern Product Management and the man who taught most of Silicon Valley how to make truly great products, is in Ljubljana this Sunday, October 13th only! A rare feat, well worth clearing your after-lunch weekend schedule to get a dose of inspiration for the weeks to come.

Join us for the launch of the Slovenian translation of his latest book Inspired, How to Make Tech Products Customers Love (Z navdihom). We are super excited that Marty will be able to accompany the book launch with a short talk on Product Management and Product Ownership as well as a relaxed Q&A and the obligatory book signing.

Join us at the soon-to-be Computer Museum (Računalniški muzej, Celovška 111) on Sunday 13 Oct at 17:00.

About Marty: After leading product management at companies like HP, Netscape and eBay, Marty started a seriously impressive consulting and speaking career (SVPG) and is considered the number one authority on all things product within the US tech scene and internationally.

Connection to local context: Zemanta met Marty almost ten years ago, and he helped them to move in the right direction, so there is a ton of first hand experience with his process in the community and that naturally contributed to the advocacy for a Slovene translation of his core work.

Ever since Marty’s first visit to Ljubljana, “Inspired” remained the source of knowledge and inspiration of many successful product teams in Slovenia.

We felt it’s time to translate it and expand the series of translated Silicon Valley proven books on entrepreneurship & product development such as Running Lean (Delaj vitko) and Scrum (V gruču do uspeha).

Boštjan Špetič and Tilen Travnik took on the editorial challenge, while Pasadena took care of the publishing.
