Our ProductTank TLV meetup on Monday November 28, will be walking the product management tightrope in an agile world; In Lean We Trust: Agile Product Management.
This is more a 'how to think about products' meetup than 'how to templates'.
We have two insightful talks lined up for this month, with the fascinating:
Nir Gazit (https://www.linkedin.com/in/gazitnir?trk=send_invitation_success_message_name&goback=%2Enpv_ADEAAAJIvx4B1XQ3x92Q5yh2USXlfgOJVRVNkbQ_*1_*1_NAME*4SEARCH_hYG*4_*1_en*4US_*1_*1_*1_1308207411478469323837_1_9_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_vsrp*4people*4res*4name_*1_*1), Chief Product Officer @SafeCharge (http://www.safecharge.com/) with his talk: “From Waterfall to Dual track agile and back”
In the last 10 years Nir has been working in several companies in different product roles, from Product manager to Chief Product Officer. During this time, he has experienced first hand the migration from Waterfall to Agile and to Dual tracking agile.
Though Agile is becoming more common, many companies still fail to understand the essence of it and focus on the ritual or the technical aspects (continuous deployment, TDD, BDD, etc. ) rather than the essence of it.
In this session Nir will share insights from his own experience about the Agile methodologies and will highlight the important things that each Product Manager should focus on, on his path to the great product.
Haim Deutsch (https://www.linkedin.com/in/haimdeutsch?authType=NAME_SEARCH&authToken=2K0u&locale=en_US&srchid=1308207411478469464861&srchindex=1&srchtotal=3&trk=vsrp_people_res_name&trkInfo=VSRPsearchId%3A1308207411478469464861%2CVSRPtargetId%3A15477426%2CVSRPcmpt%3Aprimary%2CVSRPnm%3Atrue%2CauthType%3ANAME_SEARCH), Founder & CEO @AgileSpirit (http://agile-spirit.com/) with his talk “Collaboration – product ownership secret – neuroscience at the service of successful product”
A successful Product Owner must master two skills: The first, is sharing the vision, and the second, creating a collaborative environment. Collaboration is a primary human need, it is curved in our brain and turned to be an evolutive accomplishment allowing humankind to solve complex problems. Unfortunately, we were trained to negotiation in place of collaboration.
In his talk, Haim will teach the audience a simple method for achieving collaboration and maintain it, the PM way.
The agenda for this meetup:
19:00 Mingling and Munching
19:30 Nir will share from his experience
20:00 Haim will share from his experience
