Talks: Managing Products at Scale with Lindsay Rothman and Mladen Rangelov

We're excited to welcome Lindsay Rothman and Mladen Rangelov for July's discussion.
When you are working at a startup that's found Product Market Fit on a core product, have a lot of happy customers and may even be making a ton of revenue, you still need to keep a foot on the innovation pedal.
These esteemed PMs are from some of Toronto's most successful start-ups and they'll talk about how they manage products at scale through all phases of the product lifecycle. The panel will talk about the process of launching major new features or products, optimizing existing products and killing those that are in decline. They'll touch on how they leverage their existing customer base to facilitate the product development process.
Following their presentations, there will be a short Q&A session where we'll dig deeper on some of the key learnings from their presentations.

Lindsay is passionate about shipping products that people love while delivering business results. As Lead Product Manger at FreshBooks, Lindsay and her team focus on developing the core product. Prior to FreshBooks, Lindsay gained expertise as a Product Manager in different industries such as marketing and healthcare. Back in the day, Lindsay thought she liked people, so she got a degree in Psychology from Queen's University. However, after working in tech, she realized that she prefers computers.

Mladen is a Senior Product Manager at Flipp, a Toronto-born company that's helping people save on their weekly shopping. He loves to dabble in new industries and craft products, from building one of the first social media marketing platforms for franchises, to helping modernize an e-commerce platform used by loyalty programs worldwide. He's worked in product management at various sized software companies from small startups to large enterprises, such as Points, Hulu, Syncapse, and Microsoft. With 30 countries under his belt, Mladen clearly loves to travel, and when he’s in town, you can find him on a beach volleyball court in the summer, or a ski hill in the winter.

Moharyar is the Director of Product at LookBookHQ. He has over 5 years’ experience as a product manager, working for companies such as Apple, Bell and Loblaw Digital. Moharyar is passionate about early stage start-ups and is a lead instructor for Product Management at BrainStation. His background in engineering, combined with his Master's in Business Administration from Queen's University, has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of product management.
