What we’re about
Professionally Speaking Singles Toastmasters (PSST) is the only Toastmasters club exclusively for single Houstonians! We're professionals united by a common goal: enriching our professional and personal lives with strong communication and leadership skills. As an upwardly mobile single, you need to think quickly on your feet, speak concisely and persuasively, and practice leadership skills which will last a lifetime.
The objective is for members to develop communication, public speaking and leadership skills in a friendly and supportive environment. Along the way, friendships are forged, fear of public speaking is shed, self confidence is bolstered and business and personal contacts are established. All in all, it's a great way to make new friends while developing valuable soft skills.
Most members don't RSVP on Meetup, so don't judge us by our numbers here! We have about 20 people at every meeting.
We meet at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 3471 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77027. You'll find us in Room EN 205/6.
