UX Prototyping - Mini Hackathon

Details
IMPORTANT:
to participate effectively in this hackathon, bring your laptop with your favorite prototyping tools already installed and a way to sketch your ideas and flows before you design or build them.
-------
Hello Everyone,
for our third meetup we'll try a “Hackers for Good” event. We are collaborating with Michael Lapin at “Product and UX Hackathons” meetup group so you can RSVP here or on their event page (https://www.meetup.com/Product-UX-Hackathons-NYC/events/229446713/).
The idea is to have a “brief” with the goal to solve a real world problem – in first event could be for example for Save The Children or NYC City Harvest.
You’ll have approximately 2 hours to:
– Design and build a prototype that “tells” your way to solve the problem
– You can use any prototyping tool of your choice from InVision, to Principle for Mac, code it if you prefer or use a text messaging platform if you prefer.
When the teams are done, you’ll have 3-5 minutes to present your prototype, if you’d like feedback.
Teams can be solo teams (one member) or up to 3-4 members.
The “winners” and “honorable mentions” will be picked by a panel (TBD) and by popular vote.
Prizes for this hackaton are “good karma” in various sizes ;)
If we have a sponsor by the time of the event we might have a real prize too, but can’t promise yet.
I'll be helping with any prototyping questions you might have.
See you soon!
Francesco
