What we’re about

A forum to discuss some of the most urgent and pressing issues at the intersection of law and technology with an access to justice orientation. Founded by Roberto López Dávila, Esq., the Puerto Rico Chapter of Legal Hackers (which is a global movement with chapters all over the world) aims to constitute into a meeting space for people from diverse disciplines (law, engineering, design, entrepreneurship, among others) in order to, through discussions, exchanges and multidisciplinary learning, develop and propose innovative solutions to pressing access to justice problems that impact the Puerto Rican society, relying primarily, as a support for that endeavor, on emergent technologies. To that end, we will foster different activities based on meetings, hang outs, Legal Tech pitches, hack-a-tons, among others; all of them united by the common objective of contributing to bridge the access to justice gap prevalent in the country.
