This month, we'll be tasting and discussing Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir is a great Valentine's Day wine - soft and approachable, yet elegant and sophisticated. As with last time, please plan to bring a bottle of Pinot Noir or red Burgundy (one bottle between a couple is fine). Don't feel the need to spend more than $20/bottle. Please post what you're bringing so that we can get a variety.
The basic details of the event, for anyone who needs a reminder:
Who: Anyone 21+
Cost: Free. Please bring a bottle of Pinot Noir (or red Burgundy).
Where it is: By the bar at Pumping Station: One (3519 N Elston Ave)
When it is: Friday, 1/16, at 7:30 PM.
What the event is about: This is will be a wine tasting/appreciation session with an educational component. As this is our first class involving red wine, we'll talk a bit about color extraction, in addition to the Pinot Noir grape itself.
