What we're about

PunchCode is a non-profit coding school in Downtown Las Vegas. As one of Tech Impact's many technology education programs, PunchCode aims to help bring awareness and training in software development to the community. We offer many full-time programs for those looking to make a career change into software development, we also provide free introductory courses to those who may not be able or ready to become a full-time programmer just yet. All events will be posted on this Meetup page, so we encourage you to join and feel free to drop as a message if you have any questions.

PunchCode Summer Graduation

Online event

In these times of uncertainty, the students of the PunchCode Summer Cohort have shown a tremendous amount of resilience, purpose, and grit to become graduates of Tech Impact’s PunchCode (Full-Stack Software Engineering) program. For the past 12 weeks, these folks have been learning and working in a remote team environment. For some, this can be an uncomfortable and intimidating change. Not for them. They continued their learning, worked as a team, participated in their stand-ups, and completed their projects on schedule. It is a true sign of commitment and adaptability. Please join us today, Monday, July 27, to celebrate the achievements of these graduates by attending their Summer 2020 Cohort’s “Virtual” Demo Day! Demo Day is an event where students showcase their skills as application developers through a presentation of a web application they developed that solves a problem. This is typically held as an in-person event. However, we’ve adjusted the venue and will be hosting the event online. The event starts at 2 pm PST. As unsettling as the COVID-19 pandemic is, it’s nice that we have the opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of these individuals and teams. I look forward to you joining us! Thanks!
