Let’s have a cold beer at the next Go MeetUp and celebrate the last day of summer!

Almost everyone has heard of Go and how it is used by now, but have you ever explored the Go world of system and project architecture, dived deep into a production code, implementing CLI commands, tackled parallelism and testing? We do and we’d love to talk about them with you on August 31st at 5:30 pm at Pure Storage office.

This time our speakers are:
Kovi : For more than a decade, I’ve been crafting the ability of introducing sophisticated bugs into the software for future generations to resolve. Recently, a group of engineers got mandate to find some of them, and fix them and I can actively make their life harder as their leader.

Jindra: My name is Jindra Zak, and I’ve been working in Pure Storage here in Prague for the last year. Before that, I worked as a backend developer in a small digital agency focusing on web projects. One year ago, after I finished my engineering studies at Czech technical university, I wanted to move forward and joined Pure as my first full-time job. Since then, I’ve been part of the Portworx team here in Prague working on our database-as-a-service platform called PDS. I work with Go, Kubernetes, FluxCI, Terraform, and other cloud technologies.

Pawel: My name is Paweł Recław, and I'm a tech lead for the Data At Rest Encryption Team. I've been working for Pure Storage for one and a half year. Before Pure I've been working on real time critical and distributed systems. The love of my life are algorithms and data structures (and my wife). I enjoy non-trivial challenges that is what lead me to Pure Storage.
