PureScript Helsinki goes Tampere!

Metosin will be hosting the first PureScript meetup in Tampere on the 18th October!
Everyone's welcome and no previous PureScript experience or knowledge required.

Program:

16:30: Welcome! + Introducing Metosin

16:40: Fabrizio Ferrai - React! Defeating the State with PureScript

17:10: Kontantin Zudov - Refining types with shape, meaning and purpose

17:30: Justin Woo - Type classes are pattern matching for types

18:00: Juhana Laurinharju - Data Type Generics: Type safety without boilerplate

~18:00: food and beverages

After the talks, in a not necessarily defined order or at the same time:

• Mini Hackathon: "how do I get started with PureScript?" (please install the PureScript tools beforehand, "yarn add global purescript psc-package-bin-simple" should be enough). The speakers will be available for tutoring/guidance/random questions.
• Sauna (warm from 18:00 onwards)
• Free Social interaction
