Workshop Details
At PyBelfast's Halloween meetup, we're not just exploring Raspberry Pi Pico – we're doing it in style with MicroPython! Unlock the true potential of this microcontroller using the beginner-friendly MicroPython programming language. To ensure everyone gets a chance to participate, we have a limited number of 10 Raspberry Pi Picos available for shared use during the workshop.
We will be starting with the `Getting started with Raspberry Pi Pico` workshop from the Raspberry Pi Foundation and then creating our own ideas using the workshop's learnings to create our own ideas. The workshop will be entirely self-paced. Help and support will also be available on the night.
With spaces filling up fast, it's a spooktacular opportunity to collaborate with your fellow tech enthusiasts and make the most of the hardware available. But don't fret – you're also encouraged to bring your own Pico and hardware if you have them to allow for a greater number of attendees. Let's brew up some coding magic together at Farset Labs this Halloween!
What do I need to bring?
Nothing! Just yourself!
We will have 10x MacBooks, Raspberry Pi Picos, and components available for use during the workshop (although you may need to share and work together with up to 1 other person) however if you wish to bring your own hardware, let us know and we can increase the number of spaces for this event.
Refreshments
We will have tea, coffee, and biscuits to keep your spirits up during the workshop however feel free to bring along your own food/snacks!
