The first meetup of 2018 held at ShopKeep and food by Flax & Teal!
To kick of 2018 we have a three varied talks:

Keith is a Principal Software Engineer at Causeway Sensors and will be talking about Python packaging on Windows and Linux using Kenneth Reitz's latest project.
Stephen McCullough

Stephen is a Lead Software Engineer at Shopkeep and will be doing a talk on pytest v unittest and why unittest is better (troll).
Chris Nixon
Adding types to Python, move fast, avoid breaking things, even billion dollar mistakes
Chris Nixon is a Senior software developer at Flexera and PL enthusiast, and will be talking about the state of static typing in Python, the what, the why and the how.
Food will be provided by Flax & Teal. Flax & Teal collaborates on open technology projects, and provides consultancy services for open technologies. This includes language training, web platforms, data analysis and numerics.
