We have six lightning talks, around the 10mins range for this years first Python Meetup. Starting at 7 sharp the talks will be wide ranging and most of all fun.

Kyle Harrison of Futrli will be giving a talk on Micro Python. Micropython runs on the bare metal, giving you a low-level Python operating system that can be used to control all kinds of electronic projects. Now you can build all those office and home hardware projects in your favourite language!

Stephen McCullough
Stephen McCullough of Futrli will be giving a talk on python and neo4j. It can be used for more than just recommendation engines and fook the jvm!


Keith Maxwell
Keith Maxwell is running a Global Day of Code retreat at FarsetLabs next month to explain what it is about, what I got out of it, how it is going to work.
