PyBerlin 31 - ππ Autumn in here ππ

Details
Agenda:
β’ 19:00 - Welcome to PyBerlin! // Organisers
β’ 19:10 - Automated Machine Learning With Keras // Ondrej Urban
Talk description:
Despite what your boss might believe there is still a lot of manual work with machine learning - simply having good data is not enough.
In this talk we take a look at the libraries Keras Tuner and AutoKeras, which allow the user to create high level templates of deep learning models and use them in automated search for the best model architecture. Next to speedier development the also make deep learning accessible to more people. Knowledge of Keras is a plus but not a requirement - that is kind of the point!
Speaker's bio:
I am a curious human being always happy to nerd out about cool ideas, sciency or otherwise, and exchange book recommendations. Currently I am a data scientist at Trayport where our team tries to use artificial intelligence to make energy and commodities trading better. Before that I was an astronomer and I might be able to tell you a thing or two about galaxy clusters.
β’ 19:45 - Short break
β’ 19:50 - Pointers? In My Python? It's More Likely Than You Think // Eli Holderness
Talk description:
Join me for a tour of some of CPythonβs dark memory magic and unintuitive behaviours, where weβll learn about pointers (and where you'll find them), object IDs (and why they matter), and garbage collection (and how to break it).
Speaker's bio:
I'm a nerd who likes breaking things and making them behave weirdly. Currently paid to be loud online as a Developer Advocate at Anvil; in my spare time I knit, grow plants and play video games.
