Virtual Meetup: Quantum Computing Runs

Details

6:00pm - Quantum Computing Runs on Python by Jack Woehr (https://twitter.com/JackWoehr)

Quantum Computing is an entirely new paradigm of computation. Quantum hardware is at a point in its evolution that has been named “Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum Computing” (NISQ) to signify the maturity of the technology and the challenges that need to be overcome in order to reach quantum advantage. In this era, Python has emerged as a critical and generally adopted tool for preparing, assembling, and executing quantum algorithms in simulators and on quantum hardware.

Join software developer and Qiskit Advocate (https://www.youracclaim.com/badges/27976146-e4a9-47c6-8a2d-f7e932ea3177/) Jack Woehr for an introduction to quantum computing and an extended exploration of Python’s prominent role in this important field. All tools demonstrated will be open-source and accessible to attendees via Github.
