Talk 1 by Vincent Warmerdam

Title: Bulk Labelling

Abstract: Let's say you want to start working on a chatbot. Then the likely issue won't be that you don't have enough deep learning models that you can pip install. The real problem is probably that you don't have proper training data to start with. It's a precious moment in time to take serious, but what tools can we use for this?

In this talk I would like to share some techniques/tools that I've been working on for this use-case. The goal won't be to have a gold-standard right away. Instead the goal is to bootstrap as quickly as possible. During the talk I'll do some live-coding and I'll highlight some tools that I've open sourced that might help you bulk-label.

Talk 2 by Theodore Meynard and Jean Machado

Title: The Foundation of our Machine Learning Platform at GetYourGuide

Abstract: I will share how we built a modern Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to use in all our machine learning services using Jinja for the templating, pre-commit for the automatic checks, Drone CI for the continuous integration and Databricks jobs for the training. I will also explain how we manage our models using MLflow and how we can orchestrate the workflow using Apache Airflow.
It shows how we laid the foundation for our machine learning platform using open-source software to be able to manage our services powered by data.
