Join us on Wednesday, December 11, from 7 to 9pm, for Project Night featuring Apache Airflow.

Project Night is an informal gathering where people can work on whatever project they would like, but we will also be hosting a tutorial on the basics of Apache Airflow with Austin Hacker from DataRobot.

Airflow Tutorial

Airflow is an open source data pipeline tool originally developed at Airbnb.

With Airflow, you can build, schedule, and monitor complex data transformations by defining a series of interconnected tasks.

Austin Hacker from DataRobot will be leading us on exploring the basics of Airflow with his tutorial. Materials are here: https://github.com/a-hacker/BostonPython-Airflow

If you're planning on attending the tutorial, try and get set up ahead of time so we can hit the ground running!

We'll also have space for people to work on whatever they'd like if they're not planning on participating in the tutorial, so feel free to come by and hang out with your fellow PyDataneers!

Thanks to RapidMiner for hosting and providing snacks/food!
