Talks
** Title: An Introduction to the Decentralized Deliver Network – DDN
**Speakers: Joshua Croft and Aristotelis Triantafyllidis
Abstract:
Join Fetch.ai application lead Joshua Croft and senior software engineer Aristotelis Triantafyllidis as they guide you over the system and architecture of the two projects build around the Decentralized Delivery Network, DDN, using autonomous agents and blockchain as part of the Fetch.ai technology stack.
** Title: Why battery-powered IoT data acquisition is hard
** Speaker: Amadeus Stevenson
Abstract:
While data cleaning famously consumes most of the time in a data project, this talk will look at its precursor - data collection - from a battery-powered IoT hardware perspective - and challenge this notion. I will walk through the technical challenges involved as well as look at some of the results of an ongoing lockdown home automation project.
Bio:
Amadeus Stevenson is the Global Head of Product for Decoded, the Data Skills education company, focussing on leadership literacy and practical data analysis and data science skills programmes for enterprise.
