• What we'll do
We are very pleased to announce that the first meetup of PyData Cardiff will be taking place on Wednesday, March 21st at the Tramshed Tech venue on Pendyris Street, which is very close to Cardiff Central Station. As part of PyData International (https://pydata.org/), we are providing a forum for the diverse community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. PyData communities approach data science using many languages, including (but not limited to) Python, Julia, and R.

This will be a very informal and social event. The intention is to meet and get to know others in the area who would like to be a part of our community here in Cardiff. The organisers will be outlining how we intend to structure all of our meetups, which we initially plan to have every other month. But another main goal of this first meetup is to speak to all attendees to find out what you would like to see, hear, and learn at these events. Please come along and let us know what you would like to get out of being a part of PyData Cardiff.

We are very fortunate to be able to use this venue. It really is an amazing site, that is conveniently placed, and perfect for our needs. So we would like to express our gratitude to the hosts in advance.
