Title: Functional refactoring and Sourcery
Abstract: Functional programming has huge benefits and is becoming more popular in Python. I'll explain exactly what it is and what the benefits are. Then I'll dive into refactoring the game of noughts and crosses into a more functionality style. I'll be assisted by Sourcery, an automated pair programmer that continuously suggests refactorings while you work.

Presenter: Brendan Maginnis: I'm co founder and CEO of Sourcery, a tool for automatically refactoring Python. I love programming and I'm obsessed with writing high quality code. I've learned a wide variety of programming languages and taken the best ideas from each to inform my understanding of what high quality code is.

Title: GANs battling Covid with Sacred for ML experimentation
Short Description: For this Meetup we will dive into one of FruitPunch's AI for Health challenges that supports in Covid-19 diagnosis. The aim is to do auto segmentation of lungs based on X-ray images. For this the team deployed GANs and they are successful in their efforts! But as anyone experimenting with AI knows, when you are running multiple experiments it can be hard to keep track of their configurations and results. To streamline this the team used a little tool called Sacred of which we will share our experiences during the meetup. Hope to see you there!
Presenter: Sako has a Bachelor in Computer Science and is the first generation of the Data Science in Engineering Master from the TU/e. After this he has worked at Wolfpack as an AI specialist, setting up the AI department and doing AI projects for Wolfpack's customers. Here he immediately noticed the enormous gap between his education and the knowledge and skill required in practice. As CTO at FruitPunch AI he aims to solve this gap by educating the next generation of AI engineers using real world AI for Good challenges.
