PyData Montreal Pre-Holidays Edition

Hello, fellow Data folks!

As the winter holidays are approaching many of us are busy buying presents, fighting off colds and wrapping up projects before deadlines. That's why we decided to try something a little different for our last meetup of the year 2019.

We will gather on December 17th at Code & Cafe and have a small casual un-conference. What's an "un-conference"? It's an event where we all get to decide what we want to discuss. Everyone can submit a topic for the discussion (https://forms.gle/NsoMRbUcsYZ1HTCJ6), or a 5-minute lightning talk (https://forms.gle/hijdGZEG2iHkCuqa9). You can bring up a topic we haven't had before, share your experience, ask your peers for advice, discuss a paper, or try out your speaking skills in a friendly and cozy environment. And we do mean cozy - the space is limited to 12 people, so this time we'll have an RSVP.

We don't have a venue sponsor this time, so coffee and cake will not be covered, but, in the spirit of holidays, we'll have some giveaways: JetBrains IDE licenses, books, stickers and maybe more :
