Details

We are happy to announce another exciting meetup, all about Jupyter:

Workflow mit Jupyter Lab - Nico Kreiling (Inovex)
JupyterHub and Jupyter Notebook – A View Under the Hood - Jürgen Hermann (1&1)

PyData is all about exchange of knowledge and ideas so apart from two talks there will be plenty of room to talk and interact with other attendees.
Lightning talks welcome! Please reach out if you want to give one: python@koeningsweg.com

Space is limited, please do register responsibly.

Thanks a lot to the speakers, Königsweg (https://www.koenigsweg.com) for organizing and CyberForum e.V. for hosting this PyData Karlsruhe.

This event will be in English. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to ping us via meetup or python@koeningsweg.com or join our Telegram group:

Workflow mit Jupyter Lab
Nico Kreiling (Inovex) [https://twitter.com/nicokreiling]

JupyterHub and Jupyter Notebook – A View Under the Hood
Jürgen Hermann (1&1)

This talk tries to give you an overview of all the little
parts that together make up a Jupyter-powered application,
and how they fit together.

  • The Jupyter Project and its building blocks

  • Internal magic: protocols, authenticators, spawners, gateways, kernels. …

  • Deploying a local data science platform

  • Simple host-based deployments

  • Running Jupyter on Kubernetes

  • Options for publishing notebooks

### Bio
A long long time ago, Jürgen started with Python 1.5 at *web.de*,
founded the MoinMoin wiki project shortly thereafter, and is now
enjoying the increased traction that Python recently gets from
data science and machine learning.
