We'd pick the most suitable questions/most upvoted amongst all of them. You can also ask questions during the Zoom meeting if the time persists.
We are trying a new event format this time. Instead of presentations on technical topics, we will have a panel of experienced Data Science professionals discussing all things related to data science research & industry, open-source, career in DS and privacy of ml models.
~~~The topics we will cover includes but are not limited to: how to make it in open-source as student/developer, non-portability of algorithmic fairness/unique challenges India faces in the portability of algorithm(development & deployment), the privacy of machine learning models, data protection law in India etc.~~~
Our panellists are Shagun Sodhai, Kritika Prakash and Jaidev Deshpande.
• About Shagun Sodhani:
Shagun is a research engineer at Facebook AI Research. His research interest is in lifelong reinforcement learning -- training AI systems that can interact with and learn from the physical world and consistently improve as they do so without forgetting the previous knowledge.
