What we're about

PyData Kattankulathur is a community of machine learning enthusiasts and practitioners. We host monthly meetups in the Chennai area where we hold talks, tutorials, and demos on all things data science, from deep learning research to business analytics to artistic applications like music generation. If you’ve built something that you’d like to show, have something to teach, or have an experience to share, submit a talk proposal at https://www.papercall.io/pydataktr .

PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States. PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies for data management, processing, analytics, and visualization. PyData communities approach data science using many languages, including (but not limited to) Python, Julia, and R.

The PyData Code of Conduct ( https://pydata.org/code-of-conduct.html ) governs this meetup. To discuss any issues or concerns relating to the code of conduct or the behavior of anyone at a PyData meetup, please contact NumFOCUS Executive Director Leah Silen (+1 512-222-5449; leah@numfocus.org or the group organizer, Aditthya Ramakrishnan (aditthya@nextech.io) and Arjun Bahuguna (arjun.bahuguna@nextech.io).

PyData KTR Meetup: Packaging with PyPi and Machine Learning Security

SRM Institute of Science & Technology

Agenda: 1. Packaging code with PyPi - Rohan Banerjee 2. Literature Review of Machine Learning Security - Arjun Bahuguna In this month's meetup we'll discuss one engineering topic and one research topic. We'll start with learning how you can optimize and distribute your code as a python package using PyPi. This session will be followed by a literature review of current research under the broad banner of machine learning security: adversarial examples in computer vision, network and malware analysis using machine learning, and privacy-compromising attacks like data-linking, membership inference, and others. These will be supported with Python code samples. Register by joining our meetup page: https://www.meetup.com/PyData-KTR/ RSVP on Facebook and find friends to attend with: https://www.facebook.com/events/336594317183006/ Message us at[masked] if you have any questions.
