Python & NLP. Introduction to spaCy with Jupyter notebooks

In this workshop we are going to discover spaCy (https://spacy.io), an Industrial-Strength Natural Language Processing library in Python. We will offer an overview of basic NLP, a (brief) introduction to Jupyter Notebooks and an introduction to spaCy through examples, followed by some hands-on exercises.

What to bring:

• This is a hands on workshop, so you will need your own laptop.

Requirements (python libraries):

• Clone the following GitHub repository and follow the installation instructions: https://github.com/pyladies-bcn/spacy-workshop

Please install all the libraries and models at home, and let us know if you have any problems so we are all ready the workshop day :)
