PyData & PyCon Berlin 2019 Call for Proposals Mentoring Meetup

Interested in giving a talk at PyData / PyCon DE?
On Saturday, May 18th we will be hosting a Call for Proposal "hackathon" co-hosted with the Berlin PyCon & PyData communities. Throughout the day, you can drop in and meet with mentors to go over your talk ideas and help review your proposal.
Talks submission deadline is on 26th of May. For more details on talks submission check:

Our mentors come from different backgrounds ranging from data science to open source and have given talks at conferences of all types (from academic and scientific conferences, to larger tech conferences).
The space is open if you already have a talk idea, or if you'd like to come up with one; so please feel free to drop in!

• What to bring
Talk ideas (even half-developed is okay! or a basic theme), a computer (to submit your talk)
• Food and drinks
Drinks provided by Thoughtworks and food by Crate.io
• Photography / video consent
We take photos and videos during the event to use for documentation and in social media such as here in Photo albums, Facebook, Twitter, etc. By coming to the meetup, you willingly give consent to take photos and videos of you. If you do not want to give your consent, please let us know at check-in.
