Every been curious about game development? Come learn about how to write video games using Python! This month, Gail Godinez will be leading a workshop on Game Development with Ren'py!

About the Workshop:

In this workshop, we’ll go over basic game development through the popular visual novel engine, Ren’py. Ren’py is programmed in Python and we’ll go over how to program a simple game with branching choices. We’ll also go over some more advanced gameplay logic that be implemented in Ren’py for the Python savvy. By the end of the workshop you’ll have your very own game programmed and designed by you :D

About Gail:

Hello! I’m Gail Godinez - I graduated from Boston University in 2015 and have been working professionally as a software engineer for the past three years. I also enjoy sewing, game development, and of course tech volunteering and education. I’ve taught various tech courses in the past including:
