It's our last meetup of 2020, and some great talks this month!
We have Kristina Ulicna giving a talk on "DeepTree: Automated Deep Lineage Tree Analysis via Single-Cell Tracking Software" and Jaime Buelta who will be talking "Software architecture for proctoring tool".

DeepTree: Automated Deep Lineage Tree Analysis via Single-Cell Tracking Software by Kristina Ulicna
Talk Description:
(20 mins) To study the nature of cell population heterogeneity, we developed a deep learning & computer vision-based single-cell tracking workflow for fully unsupervised analysis of large automated time-lapse live-cell microscopy datasets. We retrieved cell cycle durations in >20,000 mammalian MDCK cells organised into >5,000 multigenerational, automatically reconstructed, fully annotated deep lineage trees spanning up to 8 generations, without the demand for manual curation of the computer-generated trajectories.
About Kristina Ulicna
I'm a biomedical scientist turned computational biologist at an interdisciplinary PhD programme at UCL, London. I have gained research experience from MIT & Cancer Research UK, where I first learned how to code & fell in love with python development. https://twitter.com/KristinaUlicna
TALK 2:
Software architecture for proctoring tool by Jaime Buelta
Talk Description:
(20 min) A brief architecture look at CheckpointZ, a proctoring tool for online exams, with special detail on the Python areas, like the AI module.
I'd like to thank all those who have been attending and watching our videos, we appreciate your support as it took a lot of work to set it up, if you are curious, you can read Vicky's post about it: https://dev.to/pyladiesdub/live-streaming-from-zoom-meet-via-obs-to-youtube-2l3h - any feedback would be helpful to make this process smoother and easier to manage. 🥰
