PyLadies Dublin: Introduction to MicroPython (Part 2 of 2)
Details
This month's session is for folks to complete the Intro to MicroPython workshop and Demonware will be hosting us this time round. ❤️
🤔For those curious on what we did last week: https://www.meetup.com/PyLadiesDublin/events/dclgvlyzhbcc/
ℹ️Part 2 covers interacting with slightly more complex devices such as the provided screen and temperature sensors, and also using the
WiFi capabilities of the provided microcontroller to send and receive data.
For those who'll finish the Max's tutorial early (and anyone who's coming along and didn't attend last month's workshop), I will be bringing a couple of micro:bits (MicroPython), Circuit Playground Expresses (CicruitPython) and Pi-Tops (with its kits) for people to continue to play and try out other microcontrollers. Do bring along your electronic-y stuff also! 😊
Big thanks to
- Python Ireland for loan of microcontrollers
- Demonware for hosting
- Dublin Maker's MADE as our supporter
- 💖Seattle PyLadies for sending on books from O'Reilly! 💖
- Coding Grace for lending Pi-Tops and other electronics bits & bob
