This February we are going to have 2 lovely ladies Jamica and Sherry talking about Python Error Handling and Python at work vs Personal Project Descriptions.
### Little Cute Personal Projects Outside of Work By Sherry Wang
Summary:
In the talk, I will
- demo 2-3 photo processing projects that I did with open source library.
- share how I start to have my interest (taking photos) live together with python
- what I get from working on small scale of projects.
### Erroring out gracefully: Designing better software with exceptions by Jamica Ortiz
Summary:
Exception handling is one of the most overlooked aspects of software engineering and design. Exceptions are often touched on only very briefly in tutorials. The same attitude carries through in most professional environments, where people often put a lot of thought and effort to designing for extensibility and functionality. In this talk, Jamica shares her experience in putting equal weight to handling exceptions and error handling to the design of a system, and the difference this makes in software design and usability.
### Guest Speaker/Lightning Talk: PyDataLondon 2019 and why you might want to present By Ian Ozsvald
