The talk: Python for the brave, by Mai Gimenez

(Mai is an expert at interviewing, having worked at Google, Bloomberg, and Deep Mind!)

Abstract: The coding interview used to scare me to death. However, technical interviews are everywhere, and they are the gatekeepers of a lot of formidable positions that we want.
Is it possible to overcome your fear? Yes, it is! I did it, and so can you.
If you're one of the courageous people who have decided that you are going to excel at a coding interview, I'm going to spill the tea and help you do it.
In this talk, I will walk you through my process from scratch. We will see how to prepare a CV, plan your study and more importantly, what to study. We'll go into Python data structures and algorithms needed to succeed. Once you're ready, I'll give you my tricks to handle the interview as a stoic and even enjoy the process -- I know! It can be a stretch, but the process can be enjoyable.

The panel will be a discussion about interviewing in tech. With women very experienced in technical interviewing, women that have just switched careers into tech, women with tips about negotiating salaries and more. We welcome your questions in advance or in the moment!
