Santa Cruz PyLadies Speaker Night

Every four weeks, PyLadies will have a speaker from the community teach us something interesting and/or talk about the awesome stuff they're working on!

The meetup will start at 6, with some snacks and beverages, and the talk(s) will start around 6:30.

For May 9, our speaker is Kate Compton (https://twitter.com/GalaxyKate) who will talk about her generative text/art work on Tracery (https://github.com/galaxykate/tracery) and a Python port developed by Allison Parrish (https://twitter.com/aparrish - https://github.com/aparrish/pytracery).

Kate does many, many, many neat and inspiring things, including developing creative tools and programming languages to enable the creative side of many other people. You will certainly come way from this talk inspired, and probably with new project ideas.
