Get practical hands-on Python experience by joining us for project night!
This night's topic: DESIGNING CUSTOM T-SHIRTS FOR OURSELVES
PLEASE BRING:
- Your laptop
- Shirts and bags that you want to put logos on (pre-shrunk cotton recommended)
- An iron, if you have one, for applying the vinyl
- $$$ to cover the cost of supplies (cash, venmo, etc.)
COST:
Estimated cost: ~$8 per design (mainly for the vinyl)

- We can learn about working with SVG vector files for images! https://pypi.org/project/svglib/
- We can learn about doing graphics in Python!
- We can create a command line program that takes in a user's name and produces a custom logo for them!
- We've got procedural generation tools and knowhow, like PyTracery! https://github.com/aparrish/pytracery
- We've also got a member with a vinyl cutter!!
