Python is one of the most popular programming languages in the world. It has a wide application of use and is used for data science, web development, web scraping, machine learning, AI, and creating video games. With its straightforward syntax, large list of modules, and large community, learning how to code in python in 2019 is a strong investment in your tech career.
In this 45 minute workshop you’ll gain a high level overview of the python language. You’ll learn how to install it on all operating systems, learn about the language syntax, and how to create simple scripts. By the end of the workshop you will be empowered with the resources to take your python programming skills to next level. To get the most out of the presentation it’s recommended to bring your laptop, and to have python already installed on your machine.
