Join us on March 12th (Tue) for the third meetup of the year in HUB385 🤓Same as last time, we are going to be upstairs on the first floor 🏢, first door 🚪 on the right.

This time we are proud to welcome three speakers to our humble meetup! 😎

Speaker: Maarten Ureel, TelSmart CTO

Title: Use Python to get the Line On - Building Telco from scratch with Python

Description: Maarten from TelSmart will share his experience in creating a highly functional, feature packed and multi-tenant VoIP platform, based on FreeSWITCH.

Duration: 25min talk + 5min Q&A

Speaker: Adam Kvítek, Technical Writer

Title: Contributing without code: Python and schema - documentation and its implementation

Description: Forget outdated documentation isolated from code. Our stack makes sure docs control behavior. OpenAPI schema describes the API via YAML. Connexion (built on Flask) enforces it via Python code. We will describe each of these moving parts, and how they fit together.

Duration: 25min talk + 5min Q&A

Speaker: Marino Frana, Senior backend developer

Title: Chipping away at the monolith - Evolution of booking backend.

Description: Our project is changing all the time in so many (unexpected) ways. Python and supporting modules are making our lives easier while we change with it.
Well, if not always easier, at least less miserable :)

Duration: 25min talk + 5min Q&A

Afterward, join us for a few drinks 🍺🍷🍸 at Pivnica Budweiser!
First round is sponsored by our friends from TelSmart ☎️
and second round by our old pals from ✈️
