Details

Greetings and salutations, Pytosi!
Welcome to the March Python Belgrade Meetup!
We have prepared for you some new and exiting lectures for this month.
Spring has come, the sun is shining, birds are singing, flowers are... flowering... we are sitting and coding.
Space is limited to 160 people, so only the first 160 that apply will be able to participate.
We supply the beverage, you supply the questions for our guests.

Break your daily routine, and come to Kortechs (https://www.facebook.com/wearekortechs), meet some new people, hear some lectures, drink a cold one, and after we all gonna go and join our friends at Silicon Drinkabout (https://www.meetup.com/Silicon-Drinkabout-Belgrade-casual-weekly-startup-meetups/)

Our guest from Novi Sad, Nebojša Mrkić (https://www.linkedin.com/in/nebojsa-mrkic-08640437/)and Dejan Mijić (https://www.linkedin.com/in/mijicd/) aka NTsystems crew:

"IoT, Python and Cassandra: A Match Made in Heaven"
This lecture will explain how to design and implement a simple persistent cloud-based internet of things platform in less than 100 lines of Python code.

Our guest from Slovenia Jožko Škrablin (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jozko-skrablin-75588757/), System Administrator at Blue Box, an IBM Company:

"Nix for Python developers"
This lecture will be presenting the Nix basics with emphasis on using Nix in Python development. Key focus of the talk will be using Nix to provide reliable and reproducible Python development environments on Linux and MacOS operating systems.

And, lastly, our guest from Czech Republic Petr Viktorin (https://www.linkedin.com/in/petr-viktorin-a5043a14/), Senior Engineer at Red Hat, will talk about Python's parser and execution model: the token stream, AST, bytecode, .pyc files, object files and execution frames.
Both relative beginners and experienced Pythonistas should learn something new.
