Dear Pytosi,
The holiday season is over, and we are ready to get back on track! We wish you all the best in the upcoming year! During the holidays we worked hard and prepared new interesting content for you! We would like to invite you to come and join us on January 26, at 6 PM, when you will have the opportunity to hear lectures held by Mr. Luka Kladarić from Croatia and Mr. Krzysztof Zuraw from Poland.

Luka will have a talk about an excruciating feat that he performed last year together with his team. Task was a 2TB database migration in Mysql to a different host on a live infrastructure used by 1000 simultaneous realtime connections, with a ZERO DOWNTIME. The task lasted for a week and was a real success, so drop by to hear how Luka and his guys did the job.

Krzysztof Zuraw YOU SAW IT – SHINNING NEW- GRAPHQL! (30 min)
Everybody wants to use it, everyone needs to use it. But how is it in real life? Krzysztof will explain this phenomenon and give some insights about what he learned during integrating python backend with GraphQL, so be sure not to miss this.

This time we will close our meetup with a panel discussion led by our host Mr. Bojan Jovanović and Mr. Mislav Cimperšak, the organizer of Python meetups in Zagreb, Croatia. They will present the idea of creating a Python Balkan event and they will explain how everything is going to work, what they have already done to turn this idea into reality and of course, what is the next step.

We will wait for you at the usual meeting point - Kneza Mihaila 10, and after that we will join our friends from Silicon Drinkabout to celebrate the opening of the new Python Belgrade Meetup season. We believe that this year will be full of successes and we would like to thank you all for following us on our journey to fulfilling our shared goal – creating an unbreakable, functional and widespread community of Python lovers! We can’t wait to see you all again so be sure to book your seat!

Best regards,
Python Belgrade
