Interested in all things Python and learning how to program? Me too, that is why I am starting the PythonTriCities.org group. Python is an open source program, it is easy to set up and use, from creating webpages to fully functional stand alone programs, data science and much more, Python has you covered.
If you are interested, or even a little curious, then this meetup is for you.

The Tri-Cities area has a tremendous amount of technology potential and Python can weave it all together. Some topics for future meetings will be:

• Installing Python on Mac, PC or Linux

• Web pages. web services, web scraping

• Jupyter Notebooks

• MicroPython and the Internet of Things

• Data Science with Python

• Software Defined Radio

Group Python Coding/Projects Presentation (4th Tuesday of each month)

• What we'll do Group Coding is on the 4th Tuesday of the Month. We split up into small groups and work on solving problems with Python. Also, 4th Tuesday is also for Project Presentations, on tropics that are of interest to the group. If you are stuck on something, or want to share a nice piece of code, beginner or advanced, this meeting setup is for you. If you don't have your own project, then join us and help build up our website. It is amazing what we can learn from each other. • What to bring A device that runs Python. A willingness to share and learn.

Beginners Code and Learn (2nd Tuesday of each month)

• What we'll do On the second Tuesday we do a beginners code and learn python sessions. We pick a beginner topic about python and teach it to the group, it's fun and interactive, we we keep it light. Each session is designed to be stand alone so you are never too late to join. • What to bring A device that runs Python. A willingness to learn.
