Join us on Fridays from 7:30-9p to practice Qigong and Meditation. The focus of each class will be on accessing the Qigong State of Presence in which our posture, movement, breath and mind harmonize. This class is for beginning and intermediate students, for all ages and abilities. The gentle exercises are guided and can be modified for those who prefer to sit rather than stand.
This class is taught by Nicole Stone, creator of Joyful Movement Qigong. Nicole has been practicing Qigong since 2011 and Meditation since 1997. She holds a Master's degree in Education and Double Bachelor's degree in Dance and Religion. Nicole earned a 350 hour teaching certificate from The Qigong and Daoist Training Center in 2015 and completed a 150 hour Medical Qigong Therapy program at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA.
Please RSVP for the class as it is the best way to ensure you are up-to-date with the schedule, should it change. Feel free to come as early as 7:15p to stretch, roll your feet or have a cup of tea.
Donation is sliding scale $5-20 with a recommended donation of $10 per class. Please place your cash or check donation into the dropbox behind the door.
What to Wear: Please wear loose and comfortably fitting clothing that you can move and stretch in.
