Have you been thinking you want more GOOD in your life? Good people to hang with, a good-feeling body, a happier heart? If so, you've found the right group!
Qigong is an ancient practice developed by Taoist monks to heal the body and mind. It utilizes gentle movements together with intention and focus to open the body's meridian channels—like acupuncture, without the needles!
In our upcoming 6-week Meetup series, we'll explore and practice the cornerstones of qigong for a fun and great-feeling start to 2018. Participation cost is $50 for the series (about $8 per session), payable up front. Parking is free and easy with provided windshield sticker.
All experience levels are welcome! Our hour-long sessions will consist of instruction, Q&A and qigong exercises, intermingled with guided meditations. For atmosphere, think oasis: a safe, friendly space where you can develop a healthy and addictive habit to nurture your mind, body and soul.
Sessions will be facilitated by JennMarie Diaz, Spring Forest Qigong certified trainer, at her Lakeview wellness space—a zenned-out studio storefront with a fresh, healing vibe. It's located at 1250 W. Addison, two blocks east of Southport. Many healing plants and a layered, surround-sound system make for great meditations! And being a half-level down, the studio has a very strong healing qi.

"Feelization," the key to directing energy

Clearing qi blockages in ourselves
