Long overdue, there is finally a Qlik meetup group in Stockholm.
This Meetup is for anyone passionate about Qlik technologies, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Analytics, or Data Literacy in their organizations or in their personal passions. We welcome all levels of expertise as long as you’re a user of or interested in Qlik technology - the idea is to share knowledge, experiences and ideas, while also networking with others in the Stockholm Qlikosphere.
The first meetup will be held early 2019, make sure to sign up here at Meetup.com to get the latest news and gossip!
------------------------------------ The fine print:
While we welcome participation from all members of the Qlik community broadly, Qlik Meetup - Stockholm is 100 percent free from sales pitches, marketing, or any use of the Meetup for prospecting. This is a non-negotiable policy.
Qlik Meetup - Stockholm is an independent group; our activities and the opinions expressed here should in no way be linked to Qlik, the company.
It's finally happening - On January 29th we are kicking off 2019 with a first #QlikMeetup in Stockholm.
There is still some fine tuning to be done with respect to the agenda, but it's already looking very good:
From Qlik we will have none other than Alexander Karlsson, Senior Product Manager in Qlik's Developer Relations team giving a talk.
Don't let his title fool you - Alex knows bits and bytes better than most and will guide us through what Qlik Core is and show some cool demos. Knowing Alexander he might actually focus on demos and code, rather than the marketing buzz...
Haven't heard of Qlik Core? We won't spoil Alexander's presentation, but let's say that Qlik these days has a very interesting stake in the Docker/container/high scalability landscape. Very cool stuff.
Spotify will be hosting the meetup in their downtown office, overlooking Stockholm.
Doors open at 17.30 and the event starts at 18.00.
There will be light food and drinks - not a huge smörgåsbord but rather some slices of this and that.
Oh, there is a limited number of seats available - sign up sooner rather than later.. This also means that we ask you to respect the RSVP.
To wrap up: from now on until Christmas we will post event updates here. There are more speakers coming, as well as other news. Follow us here on Meetup.com, on LinkedIn or Twitter.
Very welcome on the 29th!
