Melissa Pepper

Melissa is a wife, mom, and marketer. A frequent speaker on marketing and mentorship, Melissa devotes much of her time to collaborating with others to form unique partnerships. She is the role of Director of Marketing & Client Relations at Lane & Waterman, a full-service law firm in downtown Davenport. In her role, she connects business development opportunities with the firm’s attorneys, manages their brand and marketing activities, and identifies ways to strengthen client relationships. Before entering the legal marketing world, Melissa worked at Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center where she led a Donor Relations team who organized and orchestrated community blood drives.

Melissa is the founder of Lead(h)er, a nonprofit organization that matches young professional women with experienced leaders to fuel community and career engagement. She is endlessly passionate about helping women achieve the goals they set for themselves. For her work with Lead(h)er, Melissa received the Nation of Neighbors Award from Royal Neighbors of America.

She serves as the Chair of United Way's Young Leaders, as a Charter Woman for Women United, on the Steering Committee for Q2030, and as a board member for the Genesis Health Services Foundation. She also sings in St. Paul Lutheran Church's Chorale.

She lives in Davenport with her husband Dan, their son Grayson, and their 100-pound Bernese Mountain Dog, Riley. She loves running, decorating, and brunch.
