Android instrumentation testing using Espresso

Android's ever-expanding ecosystem of devices creates a unique challenge to testing applications. With the dynamic market needs, agility has become a necessity rather than a luxury.

As testers, we spend most of our time repeating tests on new screens or changing screens that already exist, and understanding how the code behind it works. That is why in our testing process we must use tools to verify that our application continues to work as expected and that development meets the quality of the desired product according to the user story.

In this meetup, Josphat Muindi, will dive into Espresso as an Android test instrumentation tool. He will lead us in a discussion on all things Espresso such as how to integrate it into CI (continuous integration) with a focus on how to use it in Android test instrumentation.
