Thanks, Paul. 
The course covers quite a lot of non-trivial stuff (as far as l'm concerned, at least) and makes the group look as though it ought to be taken seriously by anyone "dropping in" to take a look.  (Not before time :-)  )  l have saved the file and forwarded it to some close and scientifically inclined associates of mine who share my interest in the fundamental principles to which "Nature" apparently conforms, and we have e-corresponded within our own philosophy forum on such matters for the past 7 years or so, so possibly you could attract further appreciative membership.  Both are mathematicians, and one of them has a Physics Degree from QMUL. Your initiative has the advantage that it allows prospective members to understand the kind of intellectual territory which QM actually covers.  (As opposed to the kind of "territory" which quite a few people seem to have thought that they'd "like it" to cover!)
Sincerely hoping that this approving comment isn't considered too pugilistic by some, and looking forward to the next meet-up!

There are many in the group from a mathematical, engineering or physics background who have expressed an interest in looking at QM from a deeper mathematical perspective. While this will be covered in specialist talks taking place from the third week of February onwards (the dates of which you will find out shortly), I have come across a free set of lecture notes from Imperial College London, which explain the mathematical framework of QM quite well, and which seem to be relatively easy to follow considering the subject matter. I would recommend that these notes would be ideal for those with a knowledge of linear algebra or functional analysis.
