DATES & LOCATIONS:
Kurt Budliger will be leading this hands on workshop in Quechee, VT on Saturday Sept 7 and Sunday Sept 8, 2019.
The workshop will start at 4pm on Saturday and end Sunday late afternoon.
We will meet in the Quechee Clubhouse (same building as our monthly meeting but a different room)
We will meet in the Conference Room upstairs - as you come in the lobby, go up the stairs on your right and it's the 2nd door - there is also an elevator if you need that.
All lodging, meals are at your own expense. We will be able to grab lunch in the clubhouse or just a short walk to the base lodge cafeteria.
Cost: $300 (maximum number of participants is 8, first come first serve)
10 PHOTOSHOP SKILLS:
Lightroom and Photoshop Integration
Layers and Masks
Basic Exposure Blending
Dodging and Burning
Size and Sharpen for Web and Print.
There will be lots of one on one time with Kurt.
Saturday - a couple of hours of Photoshop work on the computer and then dinner as a group
Sunday am - sunrise shoot with Kurt and then breakfast
Sunday - the rest of the day will be spent learning and practicing Photoshop skills
The goal is to practice enough during the workshop so that when you are back at home you have the skills to move your images from Lightroom into Photoshop and work on them with confidence. Kurt will show you how to do a skill step by step and then each participant will have plenty of time to practice that skill several times with Kurt moving around to help. Repetition is key here.
Skill Level - Intermediate
Participants should be comfortable using Lightroom/ACR to process RAW files. Post processing is key to moving your photography to the next level and Lightroom/ACR can only do so much. Kurt breaks down these skills into logical and manageable bites with time to practice before moving on.
