Agenda:

6:00 pm - 6:15 pm Food/networking/introduction

6:15 pm - 7:00 pm Pushing Sitecore 9 Dynamic Placeholders to the edge with a Bootstrap Grid System Implementation - Rodrigo Peplau, Sitecore MVP - Nish Tech, Inc.

Before Sitecore 9 Dynamic Placeholders were only available with some custom code: the community had produced different implementations for that. One of the new cool features of Sitecore 9 is the OOTB Dynamic Placeholders, with some great features we can easily imagine great implementations to our content editors.
In this session I will present the new features of Sitecore 9 Dynamic Placeholders in a hands-on implementation of a Bootstrap-Compatible Grid System. Based on my blog article (http://www.nishtechinc.com/Blog/2018/February/Bootstrap-Grid-System-with-Sitecore-9-Dynamic-Placeholders) and the resulting implementation is available here (https://bitbucket.org/nishtechinc/dynamicplaceholdergrids), the presentation will cover several aspects of the implementation:
• The new features of Dynamic Placeholders and how we are taking advantage of them to build the grid system;
• How the Boostrap Grid System works and how our implementation complies to it;
• Renderings and Parameter Templates created
• Custom code to support reading parameters
• A couple of very simple Views (cshtml), showing the magic of Dynamic Placeholders
• Some Use Cases for the Grid System to quickly build complex responsive page layouts.

7:00 pm - 7:15 pm Break

7:15 pm - 8:00 pm CI/CD. How to do it without pain and chaos? - Caio Ferraz - Valtech

Continuous integration and Continuous delivery are two concepts that often we see being asked or discussed in projects. During this session I will bring some processes to the table that can help your team jump in the bandwagon of Continuous *. During the session we will be taking a route less tool-driven and more process-driven, to ensure you have the ROI CI and CD can bring to your project.

8:00 pm - 8:30 pm Marketing Automation & Campaign Best Practices - Jill Grozalsky, Sitecore MVP - BrainJocks
