We are wicked thrilled to announce the November meetup of the Queen City Sitecore User Group!
Join us for food, great company and loads of fun -- yes, we sometimes have fun at these things ;) -- as we watch two grand Sitecore presentations by two notable leaders in the Sitecore Community!

This meetup is being held in the Norton conference room which is accessible via the first door on your right as you walk in the front door of the first floor.

6:15 pm - 7:00 pm Introduction to Sitecore JSS - Himadri Chakrabarti, Sitecore MVP at Nish Tech Inc
Sitecore JSS is a SDK for Javascript Developers to build disconnected fully capable Sitecore Experience Platform application utilizing the Sitecore Headless Architecture.
In this talk . Himadri will introduce most recent JSS architecture and take the audience through the journey of creating Sitecore JSS application using ReactJS.

7:15 pm - 8:00 pm "SXA Nuptial Experiment" - Rodrigo Peplau, Sitecore MVP at Nish Tech Inc
“You’re not supposed to do this way” - An experiment made SXA upside down. SXA can highly speed up Sitecore implementation. You can build pages as wireframes, then use Creative Exchange for Front-End Developers. But what if you have an approved, pre-built Bootstrap Template and want to implement it with SXA? This experiment describes the pains and gotchas learned during the execution of this mission.
About our speakers:
Himadri Chakrabarti:
Four time Sitecore MVP, Himadri is an active Sitecore community member and love to share his knowledge with community members. He works in Cincinnati based Sitecore Gold partner Nish Tech inc.
Rodrigo Peplau:
Rodrigo Peplau is a software developer who works with the internet since the 90's. Bachelor of Computer Science and Postgraduate in Software Engineer, Rodrigo works with Sitecore since 2010 when he joined Nonlinear Creations. Three time awarded Sitecore MVP of Technology (2016 - 2018), Rodrigo recently participated in the Sitecore Hackathon 2017 as a member of the Go Horse Team, winning the category Data Exchange Framework.
