Join us for food, great company -- plus the horrible puns...yes there will be plenty of those going around -- coupled with lots of cheer as we watch two epic Sitecore presentations!

6:15 pm - 7:00 pm Face Recognition and Personalization: Data-Driven Markteting In a Brick & Click Store by Rodrigo Peplau, Solution Architect at NishTech, Inc and 4x Sitecore Technology MVP (2016-current)
Sitecore is a powerful Digital Marketing platform, with personalization tools that enable the creation of fully personalized experiences for different audiences. Combined with many headless options, personalized content managed in Sitecore can be distributed on multiple platforms and channels. This presentation shows how Face Recognition and Sitecore can be used in a brick & click store, taking advantage of customer's online behavior to provide fine-tuned personalized experiences. Face Recognition is presented as a much less intrusive way to identify contacts. We will expose the tools available to help (Libraries, Web APIs, techniques), and the challenges of build such a system: from face capturing and previous validations, XConnect operations for contact matching and identification, to the presentation of personalized content to the final user.

Rodrigo is a Solution Architect at NishTech, Inc. Due to community initiatives, Rodrigo is proudly recognized 4x Sitecore Technology MVP (2016-current). Along with his Team Go Horse, he won the Sitecore Hackathon in 2017 and 2019. With the same dedication, Rodrigo loves to grow Sitecore teams and solutions
Una Verhoeven
Una’s professional focus has been on SXA and researching machine learning techniques within a standard Sitecore solution. A long-time member of the Sitecore community, Una has presented at user groups all over Europe, America and in the Middle East as well as presenting globally through virtual summits and Sitecore Symposium. Her goal is to bring SXA to the partners and clients and to show them the business value of the product. As a solution architect, she wants partners to use Sitecore's best practices to avoid making wrong decisions and get the most out of Sitecore as an experience platform. She is one of the co-founders of the machine learning community and is also a board member of SUGNL, SUGCON EU and Women of Sitecore organizations. She was also a community judge for Sitecore's 2018 hackathon.
