6:05 pm - 6:50 pm Crank Up Your Sitecore Authoring and Marketing Experience by Corey Smith, Sitecore Technology MVP, and Rick Bauer, Sitecore Strategy MVP

Sitecore authoring and marketing enhancements that will make your environment rock!

Rick Bauer (@Sitecordial) and I (@sitecorey) will be presenting together to help marketers launch a Sitecore solution with a more complete marketing tool set. Marketers will leave our session with a set of detailed enhancements to Sitecore that they can add to their product backlogs right away. Each enhancement will be linked to code samples in a GitHub repository that the marketers' can provide to their teams to implement.

Samples of the enhancements include:

• Using Sitecore Forms to have a button that can trigger goals and more, and custom submit actions.

• Extending the Experience Profile with Outcomes, Eras, and Gravatar.

• Extending Path Analyzer with custom maps based on business requirements. Use goal and campaign categories and folders to create maps.

• Developing Personalization Rules in the Marketing Control Panel to apply across pages.

• Setting in place some basic Automation Flows and how to use them to drive complex and cross-site marketing definitions.

• Extending the out-of-the-box analytics with segments, cross-site taxonomy, and goal structure.

Sitecore Docker is the hot buzzwords in the community at the moment. In this talk will have an introduction to Sitecore Docker - What is it, why should you care and how do you get started. We have been actively using Docker + Sitecore and will share knowledge, tips and tricks that we have learnt along the way.

Corey Smith

Corey is a Sitecore Technology MVP and independent consultant in Atlanta, GA. He works with his clients to architect and deliver best-of-breed solutions on the Sitecore platform.

Rick Bauer

As a multi-year Sitecore Strategy MVP and Solutions Architect at Perficient, Rick provides insight, training, and a passion for a fully-realized potential of the Sitecore Digital Experience Platform. He utilizes his years of hands-on Sitecore know-how and certifications to help deliver clear solutions and actionable results for marketers - both new to the platform, or looking to take it to the next level of maturity.

Kamruz Jaman

Kamruz is a eight-time Sitecore MVP who has worked with the Sitecore platform for more than a decade and over 15 years of development and architecture experience using the Microsoft technology stack. Kamruz is heavily involved in the Sitecore Community and has spoken at various User Groups and Conferences. As one of the managing partners of Konabos Consulting, Kamruz will work closely with clients to ensure projects are successfully delivered to a high standard.
