We are wicked stoked to announce the October 2020 meetup of the Queen City Sitecore User Group and yes -- we've gone virtual (modern technology is fascinating, innit?)

Come join us as we watch presentations by three legends in the Sitecore Community -- you don't want to miss this!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Address: This will be a virtual event. Details with a link will follow as we approach the date.

Agenda:

5:30 pm - 5:35 pm Introduction

5:35 pm - 6:25 pm How far you can go with JSS

There are opinions that JSS is mostly used for simple websites or single-page applications. Find out how our team uses JSS, React, Akamai, and Uniform for creating a tremendous website with millions of users for a tourism agency.

6:25 pm - 6:30 pm Break (maybe)

6:30 pm - 7:20 pm Batch Personalization... The technical!

When working with upgraded sites that have loads and loads of pages or when creating new ones where volume is significant, going through each page and setting personalization rules becomes tiresome at times. In order to apply batch personalization to pages or assign profile cards, other strategies can become handy such as assigning profile cards to taxonomies and utilize that in personalization, boosting pattern cards scoring, etc.. some technical implementation might be needed, however, it is still possible to do that without the need to manually target each component on a page to personalize customer Journey. I will go through different technical considerations when opting for such an approach.

7:20 pm - 7:25 pm Break (maybe)

7:25 pm - 8:15 pm Integrate with Sitecore Content Hub from an external application

In this presentation we will explore the options available to integrate with Content Hub. Using these options you will be able to integrate your application with Content Hub DAM, PCM and CMP .
